“Beck the Halls”

Join us for an exciting concert, “Beck the Halls”, featuring two dynamic performances under the direction of Brandon Beck. The evening will kick off with the Steel Band, showcasing a vibrant mix of Calypso, Soca, Samba, and Bossa Nova tunes, along with fun holiday selections, highlighted by a special saxophone solo from Michael Agidius.
After a brief intermission, the Big Band will take the stage to recapture the pre-pandemic spirit of Michael Agidius’ WWU Big Bands. They will perform timeless standards by jazz legends such as Count Basie, Duke Ellington, and Miles Davis, along with beloved Christmas songs featuring vocalists Celeste Kotanko and Maddie Stone. This promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with Caribbean rhythms and Swing classics! We hope to see you there!
