Birding Fridays at Fort Stevens State Park
Fridays in May are for birders! Head to Fort Stevens every Friday morning for Ranger-Guided Bird Walks. These are free to join for people of all experience levels. Bring your binoculars, if you have them, but if not, there are a few extras to share. See the dates, times, and locations below.
May 2 – Coffenbury Lake Bird Hike

May 9 – Fort to Sea Bird Hike
Friday May 9th 9:30-10:30am; Meet at Sunset Beach
May 16 – Old Fort Stevens Bird Hike
Friday May 16th 9:30-10:30am; Meet at Historic Area Museum
May 23 – Trestle Bay Birding
Friday May 23rd 9:30-10:30am; Meet at Parking Lot D
