Gardening for the Peninsula Food Bank

If you love gardening or simply want to learn more about it, you’re invited to come help grow fresh food for peninsula food banks! You can join the volunteer garden-team at Ocean Park Retreat Center and Methodist Camp. There’s lots of ways to help, and no experience is needed — just a willing heart.

David “Grizzly” Bruncke is the new garden manager. He will lend his expertise in all things garden – layout, what to plant, when to plant, which way the rows should be oriented, how to organically keep slugs away, how much to water, etc.  

The goal for this year is to grow 2,000-3,000 pounds of fresh produce for the local food bank! We can do it with your help!
