Wave of Light Memorial Service

Wave of Light is a global memorial service for babies lost too soon. Experience healing through music, candle lighting, name readings, and hope for heaven at Rise City Church in Gresham (1220 NE Kelly Ave.) on October 15 at 6:30pm.

United in heartache, we will light up the night together and long for heaven in remembrance of the babies we’ve lost too soon. Together, we will grieve with HOPE.

What is “Wave of Light”?
On Oct. 15th, bereaved parents, families, and friends around the world light candles at 7pm local time to create a 24 hour global wave of light remembering all babies gone too soon.

Who can attend?
This event is for bereaved parents, families, and friends of babies lost too soon. Due to the nature of the event, ages 5 and up are welcome, and, in sensitivity to grieving parents, we ask that all children 4 and under (including nursing infants) be placed in childcare.

What will the event be like?
We will honor our babies lost, celebrate their precious lives, and recognize the deep pain we feel without them. The event will include candle lighting and reading of babies’ names, live music, readings, speeches, and HOPE.
