30 Days of Compassion Challenge!
It’s a whole month of learning, understanding, and discovering ways to tangibly love our neighbors, as Jesus inspired us to do.
Maybe you don’t live in Beaverton or Washington County. THAT’S OKAY! You can still join, follow the prompts, and discover ways to be the Hands & Heart of Jesus in your neck of the woods!

This November, in recognition of National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Month, the Beaverton Resource Center (BRC) is excited to host our annual 30 Days of Compassion Challenge!
We are inviting our entire community to join us for 30 days of learning, giving, serving, and discovering some of the incredible organizations and resources available to support our neighbors throughout Beaverton and Washington County.
At the BRC, we know that no single organization can meet every need of a family or individual navigating poverty, hunger, or housing instability. It takes a community of dedicated partners working together, sharing resources, and supporting one another. We are incredibly fortunate to work alongside so many compassionate organizations that provide essential services to our neighbors every day.
This 30 day challenge is a fun game and an opportunity to celebrate amazing partnerships, raise awareness of the resources available in our community, and inspire others to get involved.
Each day throughout November, our 30 Days of Compassion calendar will highlight a different organization, program, or community resource. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the services each provides and discover meaningful ways to offer support, whether through volunteering, donating needed items, making a financial contribution, sponsoring a program, or simply helping spread the word.
We believe that one of the greatest gifts we can give our community is knowledge. When people know where to turn for help, and when others understand the important work being done around them, we create a stronger, more connected, and more compassionate community.
