A Taste of Africa Kids Camp

This summer, we’re excited to introduce A Taste of Africa Kids Camp, a fresh and engaging twist on the traditional VBS experience. In partnership with Gilbert Kalombo (The Lion Chef), children will explore African culture through faith, food, worship, and hands‑on learning. Structured similarly to VBS, this unique camp features authentic African cuisine through interactive cooking stations designed especially for kids. Each day, children will prepare a traditional African dish and go home with recipes and spices to share the experience with their families.

Each day will begin with traditional African worship, creating an immersive and joy‑filled start to the experience. Throughout the week, children will experience God’s love through interactive stations that blend African culture, worship, creativity, and hands‑on learning, helping them discover how people around the world praise the same God in beautiful and meaningful ways.
