Christmas In July Food Drive: Portland – West Side

Our month-long Christmas in July Food Drive supports the Care to Share network of food Pantries through our friends at the Beaverton Resource Center!

Throughout July, you can be the Hands & Heart of Jesus by donating food at a pantries listed below, in Beaverton and West Portland areas. You’ll make a difference in the lives of children, seniors, families, singles, and our unhoused neighbors!

If you’re short on time, and cannot add another errand to your list, you can support this effort with a *donation to the Care to Share food bank fund through the secure donation page HERE.

1. Beaverton Resource Center
   Drop-off Times: M-F, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
   Address: 13565 Southwest Walker Road, Beaverton
   Shopping List: Snack packaged foods, shelf-stable milk, cereal, soup cans with pop top lids, meal in a bag – pasta and canned meat sauce for pasta
2. Sunset Food Pantry
   Drop-off Times: M-Th, 9am – 4pm (church office) & Sundays (church lobby)
   Address: Sunset Christian Church 14986 NW Cornell Rd, Portland
   Shopping List: canned meat, diced tomatoes, cereal, applesauce
3. St. Vincent DePaul Pantry
   Drop-off Times: T-Th, 9 to 10:30am & Saturdays, 10-noon
   Address: St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1280 NW Saltzman Road, Portland
   Shopping List: Canned vegetables, Canned diced tomatoes and tomato sauce, Jam/Jelly, Canned fruit, Canned beans, Dry Rice and Beans (1 or 2 lb. bags)
4. Casey’s Corner
   Drop-off Times: Pantry – M 2-4 & Sat 10am-2pm / Church – M-F: 9am-noon & Sundays worship hours
   Address: Murray Hills Church 15050 SW Weir Rd, Beaverton, OR
   Shopping List: Food – Canned foods with pop-top lids, Salt, Pepper, Sugar, Coffee and Tea / Toiletries – shampoo, body soap, lotion, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, laundry soap
5. Prince of Peace Pantry 
   Drop-off Times: M-Th 9am-3:30pm
   Address: Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 14175 NW Cornell Rd., Portland
   Shopping List: Peanut Butter, Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Canned Vegetables & Fruit, Canned Meats, Pull Tab soups, (low sodium foods are helpful)
6. Holy Trinity Food Closet
   Drop off hours: Tues, Wed, Fri – 9am-12noon (drop-off box is always open on the east side of the building)
   Address: Holy Trinity Parish, 13715 SW Walker Road, Beaverton
   Shopping List: Canned tuna, Peanut butter, Pasta, Rice – preferably (1 lb bags), Canned fruit or fruit cups, Canned vegetables; Snacks for kids – granola bars, snack size chips, fruit snacks, etc…Thank you for sharing food and/or financial support for Beaverton Resource & the Care to Share Pantries!
